Project Objectives:
- Enhance home fire safety in South Yorkshire by increasing risk awareness
- Reduce staff time spent on addressing public enquiries
- Launch a community awareness campaign using direct mail and social media
Project Outcomes:
- SYF&R conducted safety checks for an additional 500 households
- Over 150 at-risk households were identified and received a visit from a Home Safety Officer
- Saved 371 staff days by streamlining responses to common questions
- Strengthened SYF&R’s relationship with the local community, resulting in greater public support
